  • DMC Mini Economy Fund
    • To enable students to develop initial entrepreneurial skills in a low risk environment we are creating the opportunity to experience running a business to be operated only within the confines of DMC. From this fund students will be able to apply for a maximum of Dhs 2,000 subject to certain conditions being met. The intention is that all funds will be repaid from the successful operation of the business within a defined timescale. In the event of non repayment, a period of work to replace the debt will be expected.
  • DMC “Seed Fund”
    • To support students and alumnae at the stage of launching a real business but who are unable to access capital without undue risk. From this fund students and alumnae will be able to apply for a maximum of Dhs 10,000 subject to certain conditions being met. The intention is that all funds will be repaid from the successful operation of the business within a defined timescale. In the event of non repayment, some contribution to college life will be expected.
  • DMC Venture Capital Board
    • To support students and alumnae at the stage of developing their existing business but who are unable to access capital without undue risk. From this fund students will be able to apply for a maximum of Dhs 100,000 subject to certain conditions being met. The intention is that the VC Board acquires an agreed % of the business.
  • Participation in International Conferences, Competitions and Workshops
    • To develop their knowledge and experience of the world around them students affiliated to the Centre of Applied Research & Entrepreneurship will be encouraged to participate in extra-curricular learning activities. For each of these activities a personal contribution from the student is usually required.
      • Global Business Opportunities: Organized by Al Ahli Group and with financial support from HSBC 2 students participated in a 3 week long international student entrepreneurship workshop in Brazil
