Program Advisory Committees (PACs) provide an ongoing exchange of information between business and industry and the colleges. Members assist us to identify future trends and qualities required in graduates to ensure that their skills are relevant.

Among other duties, PAC members are called upon to:

1. Review an existing program (curriculum, facilities, equipment, etc.) to ensure it continues to meet the needs of business, industry and society;
2. Identify the skills and knowledge graduates will need in the workplace;
3. Advise on current and future employment opportunities, industry, trends and employer needs;
4. Suggest co-operative programs between business, industry and the colleges, and offer field trips to complement classroom instruction;
