Make the most of DMC Careers Day 2009!

Are you looking for UAE national employees?
Here are some suggestions on how to fully benefit from this event.

• Bring UAE national employees, especially DMC graduates, wherever possible. They are very well placed for handling students’ questions.

• Bring HR personnel as well as specialists in the area you are recruiting for. Many students may have technical questions about Engineering / Accounting and so on.

• Bring brochures, information about the company and career opportunities, application forms.

  Around 2000 DMC students from all levels and majors will be attending this event for many reasons. Consider preparing posters or 1-page handouts for your stand to help match the students’ needs with your requirements

  • Advertise work experience opportunities in your company for each of the DMC majors. This is an excellent way to identify and recruit future employees.

  • Advertise part-time jobs for current students. Many students form long-term relationships with employers even at the beginning of College.

  • Advertise training programs for fresh graduates.

  • Advertise jobs for experienced graduates who may be looking for a career change.

  • Advertise sponsorship / scholarship opportunities for students.

• Be prepared to collect students’ CVs.

• DMC is a wireless campus so students can visit your website.

• Take advantage of the interview areas to talk to individual students.

• Please do not hesitate to contact students directly following the Careers Day.
  
  Please note that we have a large number of evening students, who will start arriving at the College around 3pm on Careers Day. They may be interested in jobs that require experience.
