1- HCT Football league:
Description: Six male colleges of the Higher Colleges of Technology from all around UAE include ADMC, SMC, AAMC, RKMC, FMC and DMC had competed in 11 a side soccer league in round robin system throughout the AY 2008/2009. The league saw a high level of excitement and sportsmanship competition among 120 young and energetic Emiraties.
Venue: All colleges.
Duration: From Oct 2008 to May 2009.
Participants: 6 teams.
Results: 1st place AAMC Football team.
2nd place FMC Football Team.
3rd place DMC Football Team.

2- HCT Volleyball League:
Description: Four male colleges of the Higher Colleges of Technology from all around UAE include SMC, AAMC, FMC and DMC had competed in the Volleyball league in round robin system throughout the AY 2008/2009. DMC Team dominated the league and took the lead from the beginning to the end.
Venue: All colleges.
Duration: From Oct 2008 to May 2009.
Participants: 4 Teams.
Results: 1st Place DMC Volleyball team.
2nd Place SMC Volleyball team.
3rd Place FMC Volleyball team.

3- HCT Table Tennis League:
Description: The table Tennis League was for the first time organized as a league between colleges to increase the range of participation and variety in competitions. Four male colleges of the Higher Colleges of Technology include SMC, FMC, RKMC and DMC had competed in round robin system throughout the AY 2008/2009. DMC Team won the league with considerable point ahead of its rivals.
Venue: All colleges.
Duration: From Oct 2008 to May 2009.
Participants: 4 Teams.
Results: 1st Place DMC Volleyball team.
2nd Place SMC Volleyball team.

4- HCT Beach Activities Day:
Description: DMC won its second straight HCT Beach Soccer Cup on Thursday after scoring 6 victories out of 6 matches.
On the other hand DMC Beach Volleyball team was very close to the title and finished second with minimal score difference against AAMC who seized the cup and FMC came third.
In the interest of promoting sports and health awareness among HCT students and keeping the bridge of communication open, DMC managed to host and organize the HCT Beach Soccer and Beach Volleyball cup 2008 for the second year in a row. The event had become a yearly tradition that deemed to be one of the most popular sporting events among HCT students.

5- HCT Sports Day:
Description: For the fourth year DMC continued to organize the annual HCT sports day. Over 300 students who represented seven male colleges from all around the emirates have taken place in the activities. They competed in six games (7 a side football, volleyball, basketball, Billiard, Foosball and table tennis).
DMC came first in Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis and Foosball and finished third in Billiards.

6 – HESF Volleyball Tournament:
Description: DMC hosted the first round of the HESF (Higher Education Sports Federation) Intercollegiate Tournament for the AY 2008/2009 and Lead Dubai group. Thereafter, DMC went through to the final crashing the entire opponent and won the title.
Venue: DMC - UOS – ADPI – AUS.
Duration: From March 2009 to May 2009.
Participants: 24 college & University had taken part in the tournament.
Results: 1st place DMC
2nd Place Petroleum Institute Abu Dhabi.
3rd place ADMC.

7 – HESF Track & Field Tournament:
DMC students Track and Field Team pulled together and grabbed the Higher Education Sports Federation Track and Field title on Sunday the 19th of April 2009.
The events was hosted and organized by DMC with 12 Universities and Colleges Teams from all over the Emirates taking part in it includes, AUS, UOS, Ajman University, Sky Line University, Al Ain University, UAE University, Al Itihad University, Bits Pilani University, SMC, Al Gurair University, Islamic Study College and DMC.
The Track and Field events Included 100, 400, 800, and 1500 meters runs and 100 X 4 relay run and shot put, long jump and high jump.
Venue: DMC.
Duration: Sunday 19/04/2009.
Participants: 12 college & University had taken part in the tournament.
Results: 1st place DMC, 2nd Al Ain University and 3rd place BITS Pilani’’ university.

8– HESF Swimming Tournament:
Dubai Men’s College swimmers hogged the limelight in the Higher Education Sports Federation Intercollegiate Swimming Competition organized at Sharjah University on Monday the 27th of Apr 2009.
DMC won the team championship after accumulating 73 points from nine events.
Over 100 swimmers representing 11 universities and colleges in UAE participated in the sixth edition of this popular swimming competition.

Results: 1st Place DMC team.
2nd Place AUS team.

9 – HESF Karate tournament :
DMC stands out in second place after a tight competition with the Petroleum Institute who grabbed the title of the HESF Intercollegiate Karate Tournament. DMC Students won the gold medal in the team Kata, silver medal in single kata and bronz medal in komote.

DMC hosted the first HESF Intercollegiate Judo Tournament and managed to win the second place out of 10 colleges and university.

11 – HESF Taekwondo tournament:
DMC hosted and organized the HESF Intercollegiate Taekwondo Tournament and retained the title for the second year in a raw.
